The Recipe

2 - 1915 pork chops

Your favorite grill seasoning (our is the 1915 Grill Seasoning!)

Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp of lard (or oil)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Put stove top on high

Melt 1 tsp of lard on hot cast iron skillet.

Place pork chops on skillet.

Then set the timer for 2 minutes.

When you hit two minutes, flip the chops, then immediately put in the oven.

Once you put in the oven set time for 5-7 minutes depending on how big the pork chops are.

How to know the pork chops are done, and not overcooked.

After the timer is up - pull the chops out and check the internal temperature with a thermometer.

The internal temperature needs to creep up to be 145. I say “creep” because the pork chops will continue to cook a little (we take them out at 140)

Enjoy!
